"Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation" CHECK PRESENTATION
October 27th, 2026
On Tuesday Evening Oct 27th, 2026 The Corvette Club of Western Mass presented a check to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation to there representative at Central Chevrolet in West Springfield.
The check was in the amount of $6,200 dollars that was raised at our annual All Makes & Models Car Show that was held on October 3rd.
An additional funds of $1,900 was also raised as a separate fundraising efforts during the car show by Bob McDiarmid's family This was a generous gift from them to help out our charities and we greatly appreciate their donation to our cause.
Our visitors here will be able to help us raise more money this upcoming Spring when we host our Annual All Corvettes car show in May.

Racing Legend Kim Baker
National Corvette Museum Hall of Famer
Inducted Aug 29th, 2025
Known as a powerhouse of endurance racing in the C4 era, Kim Baker built a legacy of performance that left an indelible mark on Corvette motorsports. Founder of Bakeracing, he dominated the SCCA Endurance Championship in 1986 and 1987, and his racing success led to Corvette’s temporary ban from competition in 1988. A former Corvette test driver and Goodyear development partner, Baker was instrumental in shaping the high-performance characteristics of the ZR-1, and was part of the world-record-setting ZR-1 team with Tommy Morrison.
