Just announced a day trip to Tanglewood in the Berkshires. What a more relaxing day than to be sitting on the Lawn enjoying the great music of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Beethoven & Shostakovich Piano Concerto

Tanglewood – 297 West St, Lenox, MA Sunday, July 19th rain date to be determined
Beethoven & Shostakovich Piano Concerto
Lawn Tickets $36 – available at the gate or in advance at BSO.org
Meeting point – 11:45 pm at Dunkin Donuts, 625 East Main St, Westfield (Little River Plaza)
We will depart at 12 and travel along scenic route 20 to arrive around 1 pm – concert starts at 2:30
Arriving early may allow us to choose a shaded spot on the lawn closer to the shed and gives time for a picnic.
If you haven't been to Tanglewood before, the grounds are beautiful for strolling or enjoying the wine garden
Please bring a shareable appetizer, side dish, or dessert and your personal lunch or food and beverages, including alcohol, are available for purchase (expensive with long lines)
You may bring your own beverages and a cooler
